The ligament in my knee is healing slower than expected after the motorcycle accident I had in early December. It sucks to see the basketball team playing without me. This is my senior year. I was supposed to make a big contribution at point guard this year, ya know?

Of course my Dad keeps reminding me how disappointed he is that I'm not playing. Basketball was the one thing he was ever proud of me for. I haven't even been hanging out with the guys on the team except for Shamar and his girlfriend.

Liv has been coming around again lately. I'm just not into it though.

It's not that I'm looking forward to spending time with my family but I'm ready for this semester to be over. One more semester and I'll be out of high school.

This year has not exactly gone as planned. First I was knocked out at Raven Lake and then I sprained my ankle and haven't been able to play any basketball.

No idea what my former best friend, Luke, is doing since we only have a couple of classes together. We mostly just see each other in the hall as we're headed in opposite directions. I kinda miss the good ol' days.

Liv and some other people in my class are talking about going up to Raven Lake. It seems like it'll be a lot of fun. Maybe I'll get a chance to work on my tan. :)

Oh, btw, I have a MySpace page now. Yes, I know it's the trendy thing to do but who cares.

Is anyone reading this stupid blog? Sometimes I feel like I can say things here that I can't say to anyone face to face in my real life. I have a lot of conflicted feelings inside.

Well, I got my senior pictures yesterday. Here is one of them. I think I look weird, but I hate myself in pictures. Only a month until school starts. I can't believe the summer is almost over.

I'm sorry I haven't made an entry in a while. My summer has been busy and I've been dealing with a lot of stuff at home. I won't even get into all that.

Things have been running hot and cold with Liv. She's cool and all but something just doesn't click between us. But what else can I do? And she's been treating me like garbage since the night Luke ditched us in the middle of nowhere. I can't believe that guy. I've tried to be a good friend to him and look where it got me. I even set him up with Liv's friend, Ada, who is totally hot.

I used to think Luke and I were going to stay friends forever but now I don't know if we'll even talk when school starts after Labor Day.

I started my new summer job today at the Country Club. There are quite a few hotties at the pool so I think this may be a better summer than anticipated. Thank God school is over. One more year to go.

I ran into Luke today. We're going to hang out again soon. I'm glad, I've missed the guy, not to get all sappy and all.

Have you ever had a friend that moved away that you missed for a long time after they were gone? I sort of have that with Luke, but he didn't actually move away. I see him in the hallway between classes, but we hardly speak anymore. We talked that one time at Java and maybe he's mad that I blew him off a bit. Should I apologize? It's weird not to have my buddy around, you know?

Meanwhile, I'm starting to wonder if things are going to work out with you know who. She's been driving me a bit crazy lately. I'm too young to be tied down anyway, right?
